It was another fun-filled week of adventures in Nashville!
One might think from looking at my recap pics this week that I am a foodie… I am not, but there is a LOT to eat here!
Monday 5/12:
- Meetup: Lunch @ Bagelshop Nashville - As one of the founding members of the first ever Nashville Bagel Crawl, I had to check it out!
- Had my second of three tennis lessons/classes with Nashville Parks & Rec! - Had fun, thankful for the experience, but not my sport lol
Tuesday 5/13:
- Meetup w/ Nashville Stoics - Always a good time and interesting discussions!
Wednesday 5/14:
- Had a great chat with with Kelly Griggs of StartUpNash. She used an app called Fathom AI assistant to take notes of our call - it was fascinating!
- Meetup: Best Pizza in Nashville: Slim & Husky’s - I’d say ranks as #3 in my book - the cheese was delicious!
Thursday 5/15:
- Checked out Nashville Entrepreneur Center’s Entrepreneur Day at Geodis Park and heard some business pitches. The one from Nashville Adventures was my favorite, but maybe I have a little bias for Travel & Tourism.
- Meetup: Happy Hour at Tailgate Brewery (Bellevue)
Friday 5/16:
- Had crepes for lunch with Jamie and learned Nashville has Roller Derby! Guess what will make next month’s event calendar!
- Meetup: Live Music: Musician’s Corner @ Centennial Park - There is so much free music in this city - thankful the rain held out!
Saturday 5/17:
- Finally checked out the Richland Park Farmer’s Market - it was nice and pretty big with lots of boutique vendors.
- Meetup: Dining Around Town: Jack Cawthon’s Bar-B-Que - I tried the brisket, and it was good, but does not compare to TX.
- Finished my 15th book of 2025 - All Adults Here by Emma Straub - Enjoyed it but felt a little long.
Sunday 5/18:
- Meetup: Sunday Stroll - Long Hunter State Park - Couchville Lake Trail - Excited to share this park and trail with more folks!
Hope this was inspirational in some way!
